Job Qualification :
Our International client is one of the most prolific shipyard operators globally and with a range of strategically placed dry-dock and terminal operations connected to some of the world’s busiest trading routes.
Recognised worldwide for their vessel conversions, new building and offshore construction services, they are the ship repair yard of choice for vessel owners and employing over 20,000 dedicated and skilled employees.
Based in Batam, Indonesia within the heart of the operation, this senior management role will lead the finance functions across the business. Its approach to finance will be proactive and it will lead finance operations commercially at a strategic and tactical level.
You will bring finance leadership experience within Offshore Oil and Gas, Maritime, Shipyards or Shipping operations and will have spear headed a diverse finance team. The role will provide such business support as finance reporting, ‪project accounting, budget and cost management, project financing and lead a range of strategic finance activities.
At a minimum you will have;
- A Masters Degree in Finance (or CFA, CA/CPA) with a specialisation in project evaluation and analysis,
- 7-10 years demonstrated commercial finance experience similar to the function listed above and have a solid understanding of Maritime, Dry docks, Shipping or Shipyards operations,
- Exceptionally strong finance modelling and project management skills
- Have significant exposure to multi-cultural working environments,
- Be strong in negotiation, presentation and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
