Job Qualification :
Storage administration Experience in High End Storage (at least one of the following )
1. HP P9500/XP1024/12000 – command view, raidmanager/BC
2. Hitachi VSP, HDS9990 and other hitashi frames– storage navigator, raidmanager/shadow image
3. EMC VMAX, DMX/Symmetrix frames – solution enabler, timefinder/BCV, VCMDB
4. Mid-range frames (at least one of the following)
Clariions/Navisphere
EVA/ commandview
Netapp/Data Ontap
5. SAN – Cisco MDS95xx series, cisco fabric manager
6. Backup – Data Protector, StorageTek SL8500/SL500 Libraries, ACSLS
Storage Monitoring software – ECC/SanScreen
7. Is comfortable with most aspects of storage administration; for example, understands concepts and configuration of storages, storage groups, lun provisioning, troubleshooting.
8. Has the basic fundamentals clear about BCV/clone technologies. Have some experience in backup technologies. (like netbackup/data protector/legato etc.),
9. A solid understanding of storage administration and BCV/clone technologies.
10. Familiarity with fundamental unix/networking/distributed computing environment concepts is big plus.
12. Ability to write scripts in some administrative language (ksh, Tk, Perl, ) is an advantage
13. Exposure to unix (linux, hp unix, sun solaris is an added advantage)
