Job Qualification :
(Permanent Position – Site Based)
Purpose :
- This role is assigned to provide expertise and support on community program initiatives and manage the delivery of community development programs.
Core Accountabilities :
- Providing an overriding commitment to HSEC and sustainable development.
- Instrumental in delivering & development of community development programs to support IMC’s business objectives.
- Identify community aspirations and opportunities for developmental program.
- Providing advice and support to functional personnel required to engage with the community.
- Ensure community Group Level Document, associated template and standards are adhered to.
- Monitor, analyze and report on IMC’s performance against plan and community Group Level Document.
- Engage and manage consultant and NGOs partners.
- Prepare budgets for works to be carried out.
- Conduct analysis of activities and implement corrective action where deviation from approved plans and budgets occur.
Qualifications / Skills / Abilities :
- Experience (>5 years) in community development fields.
- Applied Social Science, Environmental Science or similar.
- Proven record of successfully managed community programs.
- Sound understanding of Indonesian mining regulatory framework.
- Leading and managing a team.
- Ability to encourage others to generate good ideas.
- Experience in mining projects is preferred.
- Experienced in managing developmental partner is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.
- Diligence and persistence in promoting the best options.
- Ability to communicate effectively to diverse audiences (e.g. management, technical specialists, and operators).
- Influencing and negotiation skills.
- Strong planning ability.
