BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION
The Human Resources Clerk is the office manager in the FSN Unit. The job holder serves as the help desk and is responsible for the administration and management of communications, correspondence and records including monitoring tasking and documents, and providing supports to the recruitment team.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
All applicants must address each selection criterion detailed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item.
- Two years of a college studies in office management/secretarial/business administration is required.
- Must have two years of specific and progressively more responsible work experience in secretarial/administrative or office management with at least one or more years of this experience with an international organizational.
- Level 4 (fluent) speaking/reading/writing in English and Bahasa Indonesia are required. Language proficiency will be tested.
- Must demonstrated proficiency in typing various correspondence formats: (i.e. memoranda, letters, reports, faxes, etc.) as well as standardized documents and forms are required. A thorough understanding of organizational structure specific to administrative management procedures, which govern secretarial and administrative support functions in a busy office environment, is required. The job holder will be considered the resident technical "hands-on" expert in all facets of office management and administration for all categories of employees assigned to the Human Resources Office.
- Ability to do multi-tasking assignments under pressure and to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality relating to all areas of Human Resources matters as/when appropriate or required. Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through on all assignments with little or no oversight. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain a collaborative working relationship within the Human resources Office and other Mission offices.
- Must have demonstrated proficiency in office computer application programs, email and internet use.
