As a Web Developer and Web Designer, your primary focus will be the maintenance, ongoing development and web design of our internet platform, whilst also developing our in-house applications. To be successful in your application you will be customer-focused in your developments, and you will have an understanding and experience of data integration and manipulation using XML Web Services and flat files.

Whilst we are seeking a Web Developer with strong technical ability, formal qualifications are not essential. Previous experience as a Web Developer and Designer in a commercial environment would be advantageous.

To apply for this position, you must have a very strong knowledge of PHP and ideally have a working knowledge in all of the following:

• PHP 5 / OOP


• MySQL


• JavaScript / jQuery / AJAX


• HTML / XHTML / CSS


• XML Web Services


• Adobe Photoshop / Adobe Dreamweaver / Adobe Fireworks
  

It's also advantageous if you have:

• Basic Linux/ Apache administration knowledge Experience using PHP frameworks
