The key responsibilities of this position include the following :
You will lead, facilitate and coordinate production activities and resources as per established company practices and policies and ensure timely delivery of quality parts that meet and exceed customer expectations.
You will lead, measures and monitors continuous improvement programs through Eaton Business System.
You will coordinate and participate on production and continuous improvement teams within own area or other areas to enhance plant results.
You will troubleshoot and resolve all technical issues related to machine shop products.
You will perform Computer Numerical Control (CNC) programming for tooling and production machined components.
You will lead efforts in sourcing for production machined components and critical production tooling such as rollers and die set.
You will motivate, coach and ensure that your team members have the appropriate skills, knowledge, information and tools to perform their jobs safely and effectively and maintain a high level of engagement and productivity.
You will train existing and new machinists on the use and maintenance of all the machineries in the department.
You will proactively implements, promotes and maintains a safe working environment through diligence in accident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance, consistent policy enforcement and good corporate citizenship.
You will comply with all national and local safety and environmental standards, guidelines and policies.
You will ensure that all machine shop employees use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as prescribed by the company.
You will drive 5S culture by improving and maintaining the cleanliness, safety and organization of the work area.
The requirements for this position are :
- Technical Diploma in engineering or equivalent technical certifications.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant practical machining experience with both manual and CNC machining in a MNC manufacturing environment.
- Possess working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and tool sets related to production management.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective team player.
- Highly motivated and resourceful with good facilitation and leadership skills.
